Design-Build is a process where an Owner executes a single contact with one entity to provide both design and construction services. That entity is a team of premiere construction contractors, often led by Syler Custom Homes, and one or more civil design firms. As a team, we partner with an Owner to design and construct the project in the shortest possible time and at a reasonable price to provide a high-quality product that will serve users for years. Design-Build is a method where we start construction before design is completed. Working together, the team can be innovative in finding ways to quickly resolve issues that emerge. Design-Build also allows faster work completion at substantial cost savings compared to the traditional process of design-bid-build.

The Preliminary Phase allows owners to explore the feasibility of their remodeling plan without paying costly architectural design fees. The Preliminary Phase includes the preparation of several schemes, including schematic sketches and budgeting pricing for each phase.
Once the Owner chooses their desired design and corresponding budget, The Design/Development Phase refines the preliminary phase sketches into plans, prepares project specifications and provides the Owner with a construction proposal.
The Construction Phase completes the Design/Development Phase drawings with sufficient detail to obtain building permits and builds the project.
